After her role as the title character in 2019's Princess Emmy, Ruby Barnhill's acting career seemed to be on hiatus, as she had not been in any known productions since then.
However, in 2024, it was confirmed that Barnhill would return to voice acting. She is set to voice the character of Aurora in the English dub of the film The Imaginary. This marks her first confirmed acting project since Princess Emmy.
