How Do I Import Guides in After Effects?

To import guides in After Effects, use the following steps:

1. Go to the View menu at the top of the After Effects window.
2. Select Import Guides.
3. Navigate to the location where your guide file is saved and select it.

That's it! Your guides will now appear in your composition. To first create and save guides for import/export follow these steps:

1. Create your guides in your composition as desired.
2. Go to the View menu.
3. Select Export Guides.
4. Choose a location and name for your guides file (it will be saved as a .guides file). I recommend keeping it in your project folder for easy access.
5. Click Save.
