Zaheer's initial imprisonment followed a significant event involving Unalaq. Although part of the same broader movement, Unalaq ultimately betrayed Zaheer. This betrayal led directly to Zaheer and his associates being apprehended by a powerful alliance of key figures.
The individuals responsible for Zaheer's initial incarceration were:
- Tenzin: The son of Avatar Aang and a master airbender, known for his wisdom and combat skills.
- Sokka: A Water Tribe warrior and strategic mastermind, often contributing tactical brilliance.
