The most straightforward way to free Lae'zel is by destroying the weakened base of her suspended cage.
- Locate the Cage: Lae'zel will be in a cage hanging above the ground, guarded by Tieflings.
- Target the Base: Focus your attacks on the weakened wooden base of the cage. It only takes a few hits to break it.
- Use a Ranged Attacker: Any character with a bow, crossbow, or a ranged spell can perform this.
- No Ranged Weapon? If you don't have a character with a ranged attack, look for a short bow on the ground near the cage. Pick it up and equip it.
- Astarion's Advantage: Astarion, as a Rogue, naturally excels with ranged weapons and is an excellent choice for this task.
- Positioning for Aim: You may need to climb the nearby ledge or find an elevated position to get a clear line of sight and aim effectively at the cage's base.
- Fire Away: Shoot a few arrows or cast a few damaging ranged spells at the base, and it will break, dropping Lae'zel to the ground.
