Barney Simon passed away in Johannesburg on June 30, 1995, at the age of 63.
Circumstances of His Passing
His death was a result of a heart attack he had suffered approximately one week prior to his passing. At the time he experienced the heart attack, Simon was already hospitalized for what was described as an "apparently minor complaint."
