  2. Peel the Cloves:

    • Method 1 (Smash and Peel): Place a clove on a cutting board. Lay the flat side of a knife over the clove and gently smash it. This loosens the peel, making it easier to remove.
    • Method 2 (Jar Method): Place the individual cloves in a jar with a lid. Shake vigorously for a few seconds. The friction will loosen the peels.
  3. Cut the Garlic:

    • Slicing: For garlic slices, carefully cut the peeled clove into thin slices.
    • Chopping/Mincing: After slicing (or directly after peeling), continue to chop the garlic until your desired size is reached. For minced garlic, chop it very finely.
