Each team is allowed one unsuccessful Decision Review System (DRS) review per innings in an One Day International (ODI) match.
In ODI cricket, the DRS allows teams to challenge the on-field umpires' decisions. If a team believes the umpire has made an incorrect call, they can signal for a review. This prompts the third umpire to examine the play using available technology, such as ball-tracking and slow-motion replays. If the review supports the team's challenge, the on-field umpire's decision is overturned. However, if the review confirms the original decision or is inconclusive, the team loses their review. Each team starts with one review per innings and loses it if their challenge is unsuccessful. They retain the review if their challenge is successful.
