How Do I Get to the Blood Palace?

Published in Elden Ring Locations 2 mins read

To reach Mohgwyn Palace, often referred to as the "Blood Palace," in Elden Ring, you need to use teleportation. There are two main methods:

Method 1: White Mask Varré's Questline

This is generally considered the earlier and more accessible method.

  1. Find White Mask Varré: You'll encounter him initially at the First Step Site of Grace in Limgrave after completing the tutorial.

  2. Follow Varré's Questline: He'll instruct you to visit the Roundtable Hold, then seek an audience with the Two Fingers, and then eventually任务to stain a cloth with a Maiden's blood. Follow his instructions carefully.

  3. Obtain the Pureblood Knight's Medal: Completing Varré's quest will reward you with this key item.

  4. Use the Pureblood Knight's Medal: Activating the medal will teleport you directly to Mohgwyn Palace.

Method 2: Consecrated Snowfield Teleporter

This method requires significant progress through the game.

  1. Reach the Consecrated Snowfield: This is a late-game area, accessed by obtaining both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion and using them at the Grand Lift of Rold.

  2. Locate the Portal: In the western part of the Consecrated Snowfield, look for a blood-soaked portal guarded by a powerful enemy. (Coordinates: -230, 130)

  3. Use the Portal: Interacting with this portal will teleport you to a different part of Mohgwyn Palace than Varré's medal.

In summary, teleportation via the Pureblood Knight's Medal obtained from White Mask Varré's quest is the more common and accessible method to get to Mohgwyn Palace. However, a teleporter in the Consecrated Snowfield provides an alternative route, though it requires reaching a much later stage in the game.
