Your Deeper Pro Plus is designed to power on automatically when it's either connected to a charger or submerged in water. Unlike many electronic devices, it does not feature a manual power button.
Automatic Power-On Methods
The Deeper Pro Plus utilizes intelligent sensors to activate itself under specific conditions, ensuring it's ready for use when you need it.
- Charging: Connect your Deeper Pro Plus to a power source using its charging cable. The device will automatically turn on once it begins charging. This is a reliable way to power it on for initial setup or updates, even when not near water.
- Water Immersion: Place your Deeper Pro Plus into water. Its internal sensors detect the water, and the device will power on instantly. This feature makes it convenient for quick deployment during fishing trips, as it activates as soon as it hits the water.
Initial Setup and Pairing
For first-time use, after your Deeper Pro Plus is powered on via one of the methods above, you'll need to pair it with your mobile device or tablet to access its full functionality through the Deeper app.
To pair your device:
- Ensure Power-On: Make sure your Deeper Pro Plus is actively powered on, either by being connected to its charger or by being immersed in water.
- Enable Bluetooth: On your smartphone or tablet, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Connect: Enable Bluetooth and look for your Deeper device in the list of available devices. Select it to establish a connection and complete the pairing process.
Once paired, you can launch the Deeper app to start exploring sonar data, creating maps, and utilizing all the features your Deeper Pro Plus offers.
