How many girls does Turner syndrome affect?

Turner syndrome affects approximately 1 in 2500 girls born worldwide. However, it's believed to affect more pregnancies that do not survive to term.

While the birth prevalence is 1 in 2500, estimating the exact number of girls and women currently living with Turner Syndrome is difficult. In the United States, it is estimated that around 70,000 women have Turner Syndrome.
