To delete an email in the Gmail app, follow these simple steps:
- Tap and Hold: Tap and hold the email you want to delete. This action enters selection mode, allowing you to select multiple emails.
- Select Emails (Optional): Choose any other emails you wish to delete by tapping on them. Alternatively, tap the "Select all" checkbox, usually located at the top left of the screen, to select all emails displayed.
- Tap the Delete Icon: Once you've selected the desired emails, tap the trash can icon (the delete icon). This will move the selected emails to the Trash/Bin folder.
Emails in the Trash/Bin folder are typically permanently deleted after 30 days, but you can manually empty the Trash/Bin folder to delete them immediately.
