Where is the blue Quran?

Published in Islamic Art 1 min read

The Blue Quran, or at least a leaf from it, is located at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The Blue Quran manuscript is a celebrated piece of Islamic calligraphy. It is particularly famous for its gold lettering which contrasts vividly against the rare indigo-colored parchment it's written on. The fragment held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art showcases verses from Sura 30: 28–32.
