The new Lion Guard, led by Kion, is comprised of a diverse group of animals dedicated to protecting the Pride Lands. This current iteration of the Guard includes Kion himself, along with his friends Bunga, Ono, Beshte, and Fuli.
Traditionally, the Lion Guard has been exclusively formed by lions. However, Kion's Guard represents a departure from this long-standing custom, bringing together different species to leverage their unique strengths and abilities for the welfare of the Pride Lands. Kion, as the son of Simba, is currently the only lion in this new formation of the Lion Guard.
