To go live with your friends, you can use a feature designed for co-streaming, allowing you to host a live broadcast with a guest directly from your device.
Steps to Go Live Together
Here's a simple breakdown of how to start a live stream with a friend using the platform's built-in tools:
- Tap Create: Begin the process by initiating a new creation within the app. This is usually represented by a "+" or similar icon.
- Tap Edit to select your video and broadcast settings: Before going live, you'll need to configure your stream. Tap "Edit" to set up your video feed, audio, and other relevant broadcast parameters.
- Toggle on "Go Live Together": Look for the specific option to enable co-streaming. Toggle this feature "on" to indicate you want to broadcast with another person.
- From “Invite a co-streamer,” choose an option to invite your guest: Once "Go Live Together" is active, you'll be prompted to invite your friend or guest. Various invitation methods might be available, such as sharing a link.
- Your guest can click the link and be sent to the waiting room: Share the generated invitation link with your friend. When they click it, they will typically be directed to a virtual waiting area until you are ready to start the stream.
- When you're ready, tap Go Live: Once your guest is in the waiting room and you have finalized all your settings, tap the "Go Live" button to start the joint broadcast.
This process allows the host (you) to control the stream while your friend participates as a guest co-streamer.
