- Omalizumab Injection: This injection is used to decrease the number of asthma attacks (sudden episodes of wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath).
- Epoprostenol Injection: This injection is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), which is high blood pressure that occurs in the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the lungs.
- Ceftazidime Injection: This injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic that works by killing bacteria. It is used to treat various bacterial infections, including lung infections.
- Targeted therapies: These medications target specific proteins or pathways involved in the growth and spread of lung cancer. Examples include erlotinib and ramucirumab.
Note: Some injections can be given directly into the lungs (inhaled medications), while others are given intravenously or intramuscularly.
