To put a needle on a syringe, follow these steps:
- Hold the hub of the syringe. This is the part of the syringe that the needle attaches to. Be sure to hold the hub and not the body of the syringe.
- Align the needle with the hub. Make sure the needle is pointing towards the syringe hub and that it's not touching anything else.
- Gently push the needle onto the hub. Do not force the needle on; it should slide on easily. If it's difficult to push on, ensure you're using the correct type of needle for your syringe.
Remember to always use sterile needles and syringes. Be careful not to touch the end of the needle, as this could contaminate it. Once you have finished using the syringe and needle, dispose of them safely in a sharps container.
