Men do not experience periods like women do. While men have hormonal cycles and their testosterone levels fluctuate throughout the day and decrease with age, they do not have a monthly menstrual cycle.
However, men can experience a premenstrual-type syndrome called Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS) or Male PMS. This syndrome is characterized by mood swings, irritability, fatigue, and other symptoms similar to PMS.
It's important to note that IMS is not a formally recognized medical diagnosis and more research is needed to understand its cause and treatment.
