Dino, portrayed by actor Gary Hollywood, left Mrs Brown's Boys in 2020 following a disagreement with creator and star Brendan O'Carroll. As a direct result of this departure, the character of Dino was retired from the show. This decision also led to the departure of Damien McKiernan, who played Rory, for similar reasons.
