The Melting Incident
The King of Ooo was distinctively composed of earwax. This unusual makeup meant that, unlike other beings, he was highly susceptible to high temperatures. When exposed to heat without adequate shelter, he would not combust but instead liquefy, transforming into a gooey, formless substance. This critical event, where his physical form succumbed to intense heat and he melted away, famously occurred during the episode titled The Dark Cloud.
Reformation into the Waxman of Ooo
Following his initial melting, the King of Ooo did not simply vanish or perish. Instead, his earwax essence underwent a remarkable process of reformation. At some point before the events depicted in Come Along With Me, the dispersed goo of his melted form coalesced and regenerated into a new, more simplified shape. This newly reformed entity was then recognized as the Waxman of Ooo, a more basic and perhaps fundamental version of his previous self, yet still intrinsically linked to his waxy origins.
