How much RAM my phone has?

Published in Phone Specifications 1 min read

To find out how much RAM your phone has, follow these steps depending on whether you have a Samsung phone or another Android phone.

Checking RAM on Samsung Phones

According to Samsung, here's how to find the RAM information on your Samsung device:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on Battery and device care.
  3. Here, you can see the total and free amount of RAM.

Checking RAM on Other Android Phones

If you have a different Android phone, try this:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Navigate to System.
  3. Look for Developer options.
  4. Within Developer options, find Memory. This section should show you the RAM usage information.

Note: If you don't see "Developer options," you might need to enable it. Go to "About phone" (usually at the bottom of Settings), find "Build number," and tap it repeatedly (usually seven times) until you see a message saying you are now a developer. Then, "Developer options" should appear in the System menu.
