Metal photos, also known as metal prints, are created by infusing dyes directly into a specially coated aluminum sheet using heat and pressure, resulting in a vibrant and durable image.

This causes the dyes to sublimate from the paper and infuse into the polymer coating on the aluminum. The heat opens the pores of the coating, and the pressure forces the gaseous dyes inside.

  5. Cooling and Finishing: After the heating and pressing process, the metal print is allowed to cool. Once cooled, the transfer paper is removed, revealing the image permanently embedded in the aluminum. The print is then typically finished with a protective coating or backing.
