How to Revive Pokémon in Pokémon Go?

To revive fainted Pokémon in Pokémon Go, access your Bag from the Main Menu, select a Revive item, and then choose the Pokémon you wish to bring back to battle.

Reviving Fainted Pokémon

When your Pokémon's HP (Hit Points) drop to zero in battles, such as Gym battles or Team GO Rocket encounters, they become "fainted." Fainted Pokémon cannot be used in further battles until they are revived. To bring them back, you'll need specific items called Revives or Max Revives.

Step-by-Step Guide to Reviving Pokémon

Follow these simple steps to revive your fainted Pokémon:

  1. Open the Main Menu: From the Map View, tap the Main Menu icon, which looks like a Poké Ball at the bottom center of your screen.
  2. Access Your Items: Tap on Items to open your inventory Bag.
  3. Select a Revive Item: Scroll through your items and select either a Revive or a Max Revive.
    • A Revive will bring a fainted Pokémon back to half of its maximum HP.
    • A Max Revive will fully restore a fainted Pokémon's HP.
  4. Choose Your Pokémon: After selecting the Revive item, your list of Pokémon will appear. Fainted Pokémon will be clearly marked. Tap on the specific Pokémon you wish to revive.

Using "Revive All"

For convenience, if you have multiple fainted Pokémon, you can also tap Revive All (if available with a sufficient number of Revives) to apply the item to all Pokémon needing to be revived at once.

Restoring HP After Revival

It's important to note that a standard Revive only restores a fainted Pokémon to half of its maximum HP. To fully restore your Pokémon's health after it has been revived, you will need to use Potions (such as Potion, Super Potion, Hyper Potion, or Max Potion). Select the Potion from your Bag and then choose the revived Pokémon to restore its remaining HP.
