An animal that cannot perform Qurbani is one that has significant physical impairments that render it unsuitable for sacrifice according to Islamic guidelines. Specifically, the following conditions disqualify an animal:
- Inability to Walk: The animal must be able to walk itself to the slaughter site.
- Dental Issues: The animal cannot be toothless or missing over half of its teeth.
- Blindness/Impaired Vision: The animal must not be blind or one-eyed.
- Lameness: The animal must not have a lame leg that is so weak it cannot walk on it.
Essentially, the animal should be free from major defects that would cause it undue suffering or diminish its suitability for sacrifice.
