- Complete Bastion's Storyline: Your adventure in the Shadowlands begins in Bastion. You must fully complete all main quests and the storyline presented in this zone.
- Progress Through Maldraxxus: After finishing Bastion, your next destination will be Maldraxxus. Similarly, you need to complete the entire storyline within Maldraxxus to advance the overarching Shadowlands campaign.
- Gateway in Oribos: Upon completing the necessary campaign milestones in both Bastion and Maldraxxus, a dedicated gateway will become available in Oribos, the central hub of the Shadowlands. This gateway serves as your primary travel method, connecting Oribos and other zones directly to Ardenweald.
By following the linear progression of the Shadowlands main questline, you will naturally be guided to Ardenweald as the campaign unfolds. There is no special prerequisite or side quest; simply continue your adventures through the first two zones.
