Previously known as the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mk-3, the LVM3 is a launch vehicle developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It's designed for launching communication satellites into geostationary orbit and for undertaking complex missions beyond Earth's orbit.
In essence, it's a powerful rocket designed to place heavy satellites into high orbits, as well as being used for missions like Chandrayaan-2 and Chandrayaan-3.
