How do you cut strawberries?

To cut strawberries, slice straight down through the middle of the strawberry lengthwise using a paring knife. Then, turn the berry 90 degrees and slice through the middle lengthwise again. This results in four perfectly sized quarters, ideal for adding to fruit salads or parfaits.
