- Adding Fingerprints (if needed): If you haven't already set up Touch ID, or if you want to add more fingerprints, tap on "Add a Fingerprint..." and follow the on-screen instructions. The process involves repeatedly placing your finger on the Home button (or power button on newer devices) until your fingerprint is fully scanned.
Important Considerations:
- Cleanliness: Ensure your finger and the Home button (or power button) are clean and dry for optimal performance.
- Placement: When adding a fingerprint, try holding your finger in different positions so the system can learn it from various angles.
- Troubleshooting: If Touch ID isn't working reliably, try deleting your existing fingerprints and adding them again. Make sure your finger is covering the entire sensor area.
