In cell touch, also known as on-cell touch, integrates the touch sensor (digitizer) and LCD display into a single layer.
According to the reference material, on-cell touch screens:
- Combine the touch sensor (digitizer) and LCD display into a single layer.
- Enable thinner and lighter laptop designs.
- May result in lower touch sensitivity and accuracy.
