Bad Moon is a horror film that follows a man who becomes a werewolf after a brutal attack and the desperate struggle of his family, particularly his nephew and his loyal German Shepherd, to survive his terrifying transformations.

Plot Overview

The story begins with Ted (Michael Paré), who is working in Nepal when he and his girlfriend are viciously attacked by a mysterious creature. Though Ted is brutally maimed, he survives, but his girlfriend is tragically killed during the encounter. To aid in his recovery, Ted moves closer to his sister, Janet (Mariel Hemingway), and her young son, Brett (Mason Gamble).

However, Ted soon realizes the horrifying truth: the creature that attacked him was a werewolf, and he has now been afflicted with the same curse. He finds himself helpless to stop his transformations, turning into a monstrous beast under the bad moon. The only one who instinctively perceives the grave danger Ted poses to everyone around him is Brett's intelligent and protective German Shepherd, Thor. As Ted's transformations become more frequent and dangerous, Thor becomes the family's last line of defense against the very person they are trying to help.
